CAMDEN ELECTRONICS LAUNCHES NEW PLUG-IN PCB TERMINAL BLOCKS WITH RISING CLAMP TERMINALS

Camden Electronics, the UK's prime source for PCB terminal blocks, has launched new 3.5 and 3.81mm pitch versions of it's plug-in rising clamp terminals.

Complementing the existing ranges of plug-in style terminal blocks, the new CTB 92 HD/ CTB 92HE are available in solid blocks from two to 24 poles with horizontal female plug style and closed headers.

The polarised mouldings are fabricated in green UL94-V0 flame retardant PA66 and feature professional rising clamp terminals to prevent incorrect cable entry and protect wires from damage.

Like other Camden PCB terminal blocks, the new 3300 and 3400 series connectors offer anti solder wicking and guided pin alignment. Mechanical characteristics include 0.75mm² cable entry, 5µ tinned phosphor bronze pin/terminal, 5µ nickel copper flash brass rising clamp and M2 steel, 6µ zinc, colour passivated and tropicalised 0.5Nm captive screws. Specifications include 8A/300V rating and working temperature range from -20 to +125°C (160°C for short periods).

NEW VERTICAL PLUG-IN PCB TERMINAL BLOCKS FROM CAMDEN ELECTRONICS

Complementing the existing horizontal female style, the new 9600 series 5mm pitch vertical female connector is available in solid blocks from two to 24 poles.

The polarised mouldings are fabricated in green UL94-V0 flame retardant PA66 and feature professional rising clamp terminals to prevent incorrect cable entry and protect wires from damage.

The vertical female connector is designed to mate with the PCB mounting male vertical or horizontal terminals that are available in both closed and open ended styles.
